This is the hair-raising moment a KLM passenger jet banked sharply moments before it landed in the middle of a violent storm in Amsterdam.
The Boeing 777 rocked from side to side as it was battered by high winds on approach to Schiphol airport.
While it reveals a nerve-wracking moment for passengers, the video displays the skills of the pilots who landed the plane safely despite the difficult weather conditions.
The video was uploaded to YouTube on Saturday as the Netherlands was walloped by a dangerous storm that left a man dead after he was crushed by a falling tree, and resulted in dozens of flight cancellations and delays.
With a ‘Code Red’ warning issued by the Netherlands’ meteorological agency, coastal regions were battered by wind gusts of up to 75mph, and it was the most violent July storm ever recorded in the low-lying country.
The weather conditions created problems for pilots, who were forced to land in high winds and driving rain.
In this case, a plane with KLM Asia branding – capable of carrying more than 300 passengers – is shown wobbling from side to side as it nears the airport.
It banks from left to right just before its landing gear touches the runway.
A KLM spokesperson told MailOnline Travel: ‘Last Saturday, all flights at Schiphol had to do with strong winds and thereupon applied the relevant procedures.
‘KLM pilots were well able to deal with it and ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
‘KLM doesn’t take any risk, safety is therefore not been compromised.’
